Yes, totally normal. That is your ego knowing you are ready to expand, and the ego wants to stay comfortable, so your spirit is excited and your ego wants to keep you where you are.
Here are 3 other fears that pop up for people:
Fear # 1: How do I know THIS is the right certification for me
Fear #2: I'm worried I won't be any good at coaching or able to help people truly transform
Fear #3: What if I don't know how to build my business after I am certified
Fear #1: Feeling Unsure
I, too, used to be ruled by my own doubt and insecurities. I would second guess everything I did and by the end of the day I felt so drained by all my self-doubt. This pattern led me to be afraid to take risks because I would fear my own self attack that would happen after. Yuck. This was a hard way to live. But it was this self-doubt that led me to a new way of being!
What I found out when I started to question and heal my insecurities, was that ultimately, I was fighting me. And when I healed the pattern of self-attack, I stopped judging myself, and began to experience this inner permission to be who really was.
This new found freedom allowed me to trust my path and support my choices. If you are feeling insecure about becoming a Spiritual Life Coach, I get it. I just encourage you to stop and tune into your heart.
You have three choices: saying YES, NO or WAIT.
When you learn to follow the YES's and take action- you will activate your heart-driven synergy and that is how your life begin to sparkle with purpose!
Fear #2: Insecurities
Before we become a certified coach it is so common to want to help everyone, but this is not actually the best way to use your gift and generous heart.
Because everyone doesn’t want to be helped. Once I took the leap and started connecting with people as a professional and certified spiritual life coach - is when the people who really wanted help showed up. These are the most satisfying type of people to work with! But it is like the zen saying, leap and the net will appear.
Fear #3: Business Building
The first day after I quit my job back in 2008, and went full time as a Spiritual Life Coach was, well exciting and freaking scary. I thought, how am I going to build my business? But it was that fear, lined with inspired drive that led me to asking new questions each day. Every day I got a new answer, and those answers created my career.
15 years later, I stand here booked to the seams with clients! And in our program I show you how to build a business plan that will align with your soul, types of networking that can create the foundation of your clientele, and ways to connect with your community to truly find those who need you. Believe me, you can do this!
